The magnificent, pristine Big Hole River is one of only 17 undammed,
wild and free rivers left in the United States, with excellent populations
of both brown and rainbow trout. The ranch consists of over 300 acres, almost
3.5 bank miles of Big Hole River and over a mile of Owlsley and Schoolhouse sloughs
(superb little fisheries). In autumn, the Big Hole River is also home to tens
of thousands of ducks and geese. The cabin, built by our construction
management arm, is beautiful and rustic, yet extremely
contemporary and nicely furnished. Accommodations include two bedrooms, plus
loft (2 queen beds, 2 twins), two bathrooms, spacious kitchen with breakfast
nook and breakfast bar, gas fireplace, hot tub on the deck with mountain views,
washer/dryer and DSS TV. You can walk to the river just beyond the stately
cottonwood trees. Huge beams, pine ceilings and cottonwood floors are the
perfect complements to this Big Hole jewel. The cabin is very secluded, the
nearest town being Twin Bridges 6 miles away. A great getaway spot!
