Montana is the land of the Big Sky, and Wyoming is big and wonderful. Wide valleys threaded by the green of agriculture irrigation and the riparian bends of streams, creeks and rivers, surrounded by mountains, mountains and more mountains.

These pieces of country are a horseman’s dream. High desert climate and topography/elevation have combined to create compact eco-zones ranging from the green of the valley to the undulating high desert of the foothills, to the more rugged desert alpine of the mountain flanks and, finally, to alpine topography and vegetation. A horseman’s delight with hundreds upon hundreds of square miles of incredibly varied and interesting topography to ride on.

Our horses are well broke, gentle and trail wise. Many of these critters spend their day contentedly on one or other Cross Use ranches.  There are countless places to ride, no matter the location.  Folding hills that will sing to you and scores of trails on the Ranch and in the hundreds of thousands of acres of additional high country federal land adjoining the spreads. Riding experiences are available to owners and guests alike by reservation.
